We are not just giving a handout. We gather data on each individual that we serve, and follow up with every individual or family that we help. All participants are given resources to obtain their ID’s, i.e., driver’s license, permit, birth certificate, etc. We also work with local faith based housing programs, hotel owners, and governmental housing agencies to get individuals placed in temporary or permanent, affordable housing. Our goal is to assist individuals who are motivated to move from chronic homelessness to permanent housing and financial stability.
We depend heavily on the generosity of church members, our corporate partners, and the general public to fund these outreach events
We will have volunteers who will provide entrepreneurial training, life skill services, reading competency assistance, and financial literacy programs for those who desire to get on a path to financial stability.
This center will help those with extensive criminal backgrounds, and prolonged homelessness to get a head start in life.
Our mantra is to “Reach the Lost at Any Cost. We stand on God’s promise in Isaiah 60 verse 22. “The least of these shall become a thousand, a small one, a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it, in its time.” We need more Destiny Partners to fulfill this all important vision so that individuals and families can experience the love of God’s people through the giving of our time and resources. Remember, according to Proverbs 19 verse 17, “When we give to the poor, we are lending to the Lord”
