TakeFlight Outreach Ministry is a faith-based 501c3 organization that actively collaborates with the non-denominational Christian based ministry called A More Excellent Way of the Carolinas (AMEW of the Carolinas). The Founders have discovered over the past 3 years, that a collaboration between the church and a 501(c)(3) outreach ministry exemplifies the powerful synergy that can emerge when faith and community service intersect. By joining forces, AMEW of the Carolinas leverages its spiritual resources and congregational support, while TakeFlight Outreach Ministry provides specialized services and programs tailored to the needs of the community. Together, we organize robust community outreach events that effectively address local challenges such as homelessness, food insecurity, and access to government sponsored resources. This partnership not only amplifies the AMEW of the Carolina’s mission of compassion and service but also empowers TakeFlight Outreach Ministry to expand its reach. Fostering a deeper sense of community engagement and support. Through shared goals and combined efforts, this collaboration creates a lasting impact that resonates far beyond their individual capabilities, demonstrating the transformative power of collaborative action in service of others. TakeFlight Outreach gives tangible and meaningful support to those who are chronically homeless. We aspire to address some of the root causes of homelessness. These root causes are often associated with debilitating addictions, repetitive incarceration, devastating health events, unexpected job loss, and mental health issues. Regardless of the root causes, we firmly believe that in the spirit of community; we are to exemplify the love of Jesus Christ by fervently lending a helping hand, and committing our resources to those who truly want to radically change their lives, and their circumstances. Our goal is for individuals to “Thrive”, live “New Lives” and “TakeFlight”
